So Paltry and Brief is dedicated to digressions and miniature examinations on art, theatre, cinema, literature, aesthetics, and anything else that strikes its writers’ fancies. The primary contributers are: Freeman Brandywine, Per Giotto, Benjamin Gottlieb, and Dolores Pallas. What has most excited us about the possibility of a blog – put off for ages and now realized with such beguiling ease – is an interaction with those who wish to comment on our posts. We will always respond to comments of any sort, and hope to create a space – admittedly, only one of a great, fruitful many – for discourse and communication; we greatly encourage further digressions in the comment section, and will be all too happy to contribute to any discussion thus or otherwise provoked.
